Identification Visits
During identification visits, we'll schedule a time for me to come and visit your property. Prior to your visit, I'll send you a brief survey to learn more about what you're interested in finding.
On this visit, we'll be looking for key species of interest for you. For each discovery, I'll share identification characteristics, growth habits, ecological associations, usage, and harvesting methods as applicable. Using a flag, I'll mark the spot with the species name for you to return to.
Visits should be within 30 miles of Brainerd, MN or an extra travel fee will be added.
One-Hour Visit: $65
A one-hour visit is perfect for smaller properties (under 1 acre) or for slightly larger properties that have a consistent ecosystem throughout (e.g., a property that is primarily woodland).
Two-Hour Visit: $95
A two-hour visit is ideal for properties over an acre, especially if a property has multiple ecosystems (wetland, conifer forest, hardwoods, etc).
Follow-Up Package: $45
As an add-on, you may choose to receive a full report of key species found during our identification walk, as well as helpful resources. This may include harvesting techniques, medicinal properties, cooking tips, recipes, and sustainable foraging guidelines for any of the species we identified and discussed.
Payment
Payment will be made at the time of the visit, and may be in the form of cash, check or a Venmo payment (preferred).
